yesterday was Karmen's bdae!! thank you Esther for inviting me to her surprise bdae celebration.. but it also meant that I had to buy a surprise birthday present! So I went shopping around town after fellowship with Amos, and collected it yesterday after my job interview! Oh and yes, I'm taking up a part-time job which I guess will start next week! My pay will be $6/hr and along the service line, though I was hoping for a $7-9/hr job which will enable me to exercise my brain skills like accounting.. oh well, I'm just after money!! I'm seriously running short of it and yes, the surprise birthday present further worsen my financial situation lol. Anyway, decided to buy 3 presents for two other upcoming birthdays :D


The surprise birthday celebration was at Esplanade Rooftop! so from there we could actually see the casino, the city skyline and obviously, the esplanade itself. I still feel the casino reminds me of mega big ships in the movie '2012'.. oh and I heard one has to pay $20 just to enter the rooftop! Next time when I get more professional in photography (it's an area of interest I don't really know how to become pro in) and have a DSLR camera, i'll pay to enter and shoot all the photos I want :D oh, the esplanade rooftop is a great place to pak-tor too ;)
